Samantha joined WSLS 10’s award-winning digital team as a digital content producer in July 2018.
A New Jersey native and through-and-through Hokie, she is proud and excited to cover Southwest and Central Virginia.
Before arriving at WSLS 10, she graduated from Virginia Tech in 2018 with a B.A. in Multimedia Journalism and Political Science.
While at Tech, Samantha worked at the Collegiate Times as both a staff writer and a features editor. She also conducted an undergraduate research project that used virtual reality to look at the impact of the Mountain Valley Pipeline on the town of Newport in Giles County.
When she’s not working, Sam likes to work on her extensive indoor plant collection, try new foods and just enjoy all of the outdoor activities that our area has to offer!
