Beverly Perry is an Emmy award-winning meteorologist. She came to Roanoke in September 2017. Beverly is from Indiana and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in meteorology and climatology from Ball State University. She began her career in Iowa as a weekend meteorologist and weekday journalist. She quickly got acquainted to nearly every weather element known to the Upper Midwest, including extensive severe weather coverage. After two years there, hard work and dedication earned her two Emmys. Beverly moved to Michigan in 2015. She was the weekday morning meteorologist for FOX47 and the traffic anchor/fill-in meteorologist for WILX. Beverly is excited to continue her career in Virginia. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, running and spending time with her family.
