What's News Today: November 24, 2017

Here's a look at some of the stories we'll be following today

The Lynchburg Department of Water Resources holds its first ever Grease Friday event.  You can drop off sealed containers filled with fat, grease or oil from your Thanksgiving feast.  Crews will then properly dispose of it.  Crews say that 80 percent of clogs in the city's sewer system are the result of these things being poured down the drain.

Burn off your Thanksgiving meal today at the Fitnatic Fun Run and Cereal Bar.  The three mile fun run begins this morning at 8 a.m. on Reserve Avenue.  It's followed by a cereal buffet breakfast at Fleet Feet Sports.
