Here's a look at some of the stories we'll be following today

The Blacksburg County Club's Women's Golf Association holds its Blacksburg Battles Cancer Golf Tournament today.  It was started after several members were affected by cancer.  The tournament has raised more than $100,000 in the last four years.

A community input meeting takes place today as Lynchburg City Schools searches for its new superintendent.  Members of the community can talk to the consulting firm, assisting in the search, about the qualities they want to see in the new leader.  The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. at Sandusky Middle School and E. C. Glass High School.

Main Street in Lynchburg will be closed in Lynchburg starting today between Ninth Street and Fifth Street.  Crews will pave and stripe the road.  You can take Ninth or Tenth Streets to Commerce Street to get around the work.  

The Roanoke-Blacksburg Technology Council holds a regional career fair today.  Nearly two dozen companies will be there, talking about full and part time positions.  The fair runs from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hyatt Place on University City Boulevard in Blacksburg.
