Here's a look at some of the stories we'll be following today

The Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project holds its Water If Life Conference today.  Workshops will take place throughout the day on private well issues, public and private partnerships and lead prevention.  The keynote speaker is Dr. Kelsey Pieper from the Virginia Tech Flint Water Study Team.

The man charged with the stabbing death of an Anderson Audiology employee will return to court today.  The judge will review the mental condition of Cyron Stokes after ordering him to undergo a psychological evaluation.  Stokes faces a first degree murder charge in the death of Narrows resident Amy Shrader.

Virginia Western Community College holds a "Be The Match" donor drive today.  Potential donors will learn how they could provide bone marrow or stem cells to patients in need.  You will need to have your ID and will provide a swab of cheek cells.  The drive runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Eat out today and help a local non-profit.  At both Buffalo Wild Wings in Roanoke, ten percent of sales and all guest donations will go to the Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Virginia.  All money raised will support youth programs.

The City of Danville holds a community meeting today about improvements to Mount Cross Road.  Staff will present results of a study, show preliminary ideas and hear your ideas.  The meeting takes place from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Grant Center.

The Salem VA Medical Center and Virginia Employment Commission will hold a Veterans only Regional Job Fair today.  Employers from many different fields will be there to talk about job opportunities and to start the application process.  The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the medical center auditorium.

The right lane of Interstate 81 southbound will be closed tonight for road work.  The closure will run from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. from mile marker 174 to 168 to allow crews to perform milling and patching operations.

Delays are possible in Lynchburg today between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. as crews work to install new traffic lights.  The work will take place at the intersection of Timberlake Road, old Graves Mill Road and Dreaming Creek Road.  Police will direct traffic.
