Here's a look at some of the stories we'll be following today

A Patrick County man, charged with felony murder and and two counts of distribution of a schedule three drug, is expected to enter a plea today in court.  Griffith Goodyear was arrested after Shakeem James was found dead in his home in February of last year. 

Voting begins today for your favorite sculpture on Roanoke's Art Walk.  Nine piece of art were installed this month.  Through Sunday, during Festival in the Park, you can vote on your favorite piece by going to Facebook or visiting the Arts Commission tent.

The Virginia World War I and World War II Profiles of Honor Mobile Tour visits Lynchburg starting today.  It's an interactive exhibit of museums, libraries and historic sites through Virginia.  The tour will setup up through Saturday at the base of Monument Terrace on Church Street.

You can get free ice cream today as a new shop opens.  Blue Cow Ice Cream celebrates its grand opening in the building where Hits Ice Cream used to be.  They have some classic Hits recipes, but some new flavors as well.  You can get a free scoop tonight during the grand opening between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
