ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. – Both directions of Interstate 81 were seeing delays after a crash on Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened at mile marker 138, just north of the Salem exit.

At 3:30 p.m., VDOT reported that both the northbound left and right shoulder were closed, while the southbound left lane was closed.
VDOT also reported four miles of congestion in the southbound lanes.
