Tornado warning expires for Halifax County

Alerts expired just before 9:30 p.m.

HALIFAX COUNTY, Va. – A tornado warning for central Halifax County expired just before 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

The tornadic thunderstorm which prompted the warning has weakened.

Hail and damaging winds are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for Halifax and Charlotte Counties until 10:15 p.m.
