Dreary start, but nice finish to Labor Day weekend

Improving weather for the unofficial close to summer

It will feel like fall on Saturday, as we are stuck under thick clouds, showers and mist for the bulk of the day.

The coverage area will not be as widespread as what we saw on Friday, but it will be dreary and cool. If you're checking out the Sox Saturday night, bring a jacket.

The weather will gradually improve throughout the day on Sunday. Sunshine will increase as temperatures warm back to around 80 degrees.

If you're using Labor Day itself to grill, things look to be perfect. The afternoon will bring temperatures in the 80s and it will stay comfortably warm for those taking dinner outside.
