Massive sinkhole opens in Florida

APOPKA, Fla. – Hurricane Irma's impact on Florida has taken many forms including deaths, destruction and power outages.

On Wednesday, it manifested itself in the form a giant sinkhole caused by storm water.

The jagged cavity opened up behind a middle school in Apopka, Florida, devouring a chunk of the West Orange Trail.

Apopka is about 20 miles northwest of Orlando.
