ROANOKE, Va - – The wind is not as bad Wednesday morning, but it is another frigid start. Another blast of Arctic air plows through tonight behind an Arctic cold front. The combination of brutally cold air and 30-40 mph will make it extremely uncomfortable and dangerous to be outside for extended periods of time.

A Wind Chill Advisory goes back into effect 9 p.m. Wednesday night and stays in effect until noon Thursday. Wind chills will be in the ballpark of 10 above to 10 below. It will turn even colder Friday with wind chills in spots approaching 20 below zero.
Temperatures warm back to the 40s by Monday.
