Showers Continue Tonight Into Monday

ROANOKE, VA – Heavy rain fell Saturday night into part of Sunday leading to some localized flooding concerns.

Here is a look at radar estimates. The heaviest rain fell along and to the east of the Blue Ridge with 1" to 3" of rain in these areas. Some areas saw over 4" of beneficial rainfall.

Continue to watch for high water overnight with rising creeks and streams. Remember, never cross a flooded roadway. Turn around and find another route.

The Roanoke River at Randolph will experience minor flooding Monday with an expected crest near 23 feet.
