ROANOKE, Va – Freezing rain has been falling on and off since late Sunday evening, mainly north of highway 460. If you parked outside, you may need to give yourself extra time to scrape off ice if you live in the higher terrain of the Blue Ridge or areas along and north of 460.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m.
While there may be a few slick spots, especially on side streets and bridges, travel for the most part Monday shouldn't be too bad.
Other than a stray shower or two, most of Monday wil be dry. steady rain and even freezing rain north of 460 come back into the picture late tonight and tomorrow morning.
There could also be a few slick spots Tuesday morning as a result.
