Turning colder for Thanksgiving

ROANOKE, VA - – Sunshine will be out in full force as we keep things seasonably cool on this Monday. Sunshine stays with us as we warm things up to around 60 on Tuesday before a cool down just in time for Thanksgiving.

Tonight: Clear and cold with lows in the mid-30s.

A cold front crosses the area Wednesday evening bringing colder air in for Thanksgiving. Other than a few extra clouds, the region will stay dry as this front pushes through. Highs for Thanksgiving will top out around 50 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Travel on both ends of the holiday look perfect at this point. If you’re planning on getting up early on Black Friday, bundle up! Temperatures Friday morning will start out in the upper-20s and low-30s.
