Beneficial rain is here...and will stick around for a bit
Well, Tuesday was certainly a pretty dreary day outside…all because our old friend, the wedge, decided to pay us a visit. That meant a lot of clouds, occasional showers, and cool temperatures. The wedge will weaken on Wednesday, but an easterly component to the wind will still exist, meaning more clouds are in the forecast. That is not to say we won’t see any sun at all, but the clouds will be pretty stubborn on Hump Day. We’ll have a better chance for some storms on Wednesday too. Any storm that forms could pack a punch, especially south of Highway 460. But, Thursday will be drier…and will be the pick day to be outside for the rest of the work week.
Tonight: Pretty cloudy with passing showers, especially this evening…fog will be around with lows in the lower 60s.
Wednesday: Mainly cloudy with scattered showers and storms a good bet…not as cool with highs in the low-to-mid 70s.
Thursday will see more sunshine…YAY! And temperatures will respond to the sun we see, climbing into the upper 70s. However, another disturbance will impact the region later Friday into Saturday, bringing another round of some showers/storms to the area. It will remain warm (and humid) to end the work week and start the weekend with highs in the staying in the upper 70s.
The nicer of the two weekend days will be Sunday. Although spotty t-showers will still be possible, especially after lunch-time…more of us will stay dry than get wet. And with more sun back in the forecast, temperatures will climb into the lower 80s. And with high pressure in control, most of us will be dry into early next week. Monday and Tuesday will both be partly to mostly sunny and warm with highs in the low-to-mid 80s.
