BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. – Virginia State Police is investigating a crash that resulted in the death of a 51-year-old man.
Authorities told 10 News that the crash happened on Tuesday at about 9 p.m. on I-81 northbound at the 173.8 mile marker, close to High Bridge Church Road.

According to State troopers, 51-year-old Warner Scott Baker, of Pearisburg, was driving north in a 2023 Freightliner tractor-trailer, ran off the left side of the road and overturned.
VSP confirmed that Baker was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities said Baker was wearing his seat belt.
The crash remains under investigation.
