Vehicle fire causes 2-mile backup on I-81 in Wythe County

WYTHE COUNTY, Va. – A vehicle fire has caused a 2-mile backup on I-81 in Wythe County, according to the Virginia Dept. of Transportation.

Authorities say the crash happened on I-81 South near mile marker 78.

The south center lane, right lane and right shoulder are closed as a result of the crash.
