Drivers can expect delays on Interstate 81 South in Montgomery County on Wednesday evening.

A vehicle fire has caused lane closures and traffic backups near mile marker 129.

As of 5:53 p.m., the southbound right shoulder was closed and traffic was backed up about three miles, according to VDOT.
