Get into the holiday spirit at the Annual Westlake Holiday Tree Lighting and Holiday Concert, Thursday, Dec. 11 from 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Westlake Towne Center in Hardy. Enjoy an evening of family-friendly activities including Santa's special arrival on a fire truck, free pictures with Santa, light refreshments, and more. Sway to the beat of melodies from live concerts by Lakeside Singers, The Parrot Pan Steel Band, Smith Mountain Lake Harmeneers, Marie Anderson, Johnny and Luna Bender and EastLake Community Church members. Also, don't miss a chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree. After the tree lighting ceremony, Westlake Cinema will be showing "Elf" at 8 p.m. Complimentary tickets will be given to the first 150 individuals who donate a new, unwrapped toy for the annual We Care of Franklin County Toy Drive at collection boxes located inside retail stores.
