Bedford County Social Services, Bedford County Parks & Rec, and the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office collaborated for a unique event on May 17, 2025, at the Peaks Retreat & Adventure Center in Thaxton… Fatherhood Fun Day. This free event created for dads and kids was funded by a state grant. We were blown away by the turnout. More than 600 people came out and everyone had a blast!
