In November 2015, Carly Simon revealed to People magazine that the second verse of her 1972 song "You're So Vain" is about former love Warren Beatty, but stayed mum on the men who inspired the other two verses of the song, long the source of rumors and gossip. Before her Beatty revelation, Simon had steadfastly refused to say who she wrote the No. 1 hit song about.
