Major League Baseball is investing in Athletes Unlimited to support its softball league that will debut next month, marking the first time MLB will have a comprehensive partnership with a professional women’s sports league.

A person familiar with the deal confirmed an MLB.

The Miami Marlins have announced Kim Ng is leaving the team after three seasons as general manager.

Major League Baseball has told its clubs that some are failing to provide acceptable work accommodations for female employees, calling them “embarrassingly below” standard.
