The Las Vegas Aces have shown resilience as they head into Game 3 of the WNBA Finals against the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday.

Alyssa Thomas scores 23 points, and DeWanna Bonner hits clutch 3-pointers in the fourth quarter as the Phoenix Mercury rally from a 13-point deficit to beat the Minnesota Lynx 86-81 in Game 4.

Alyssa Thomas had a 20 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists in her fifth career playoff triple-double, and the Phoenix Mercury advanced to the second round of the WNBA playoffs by eliminating the defending champion New York Liberty 79-73 in Game 3 on Friday night.

It’s fitting that many of the opening round playoff series are going the distance after the balanced regular season the WNBA had.
