Shelter-in-place issued at UVA as police search for suspect who fled from a traffic stop

University of Virginia students, faculty and staff have been urged to shelter in place as police search for a suspect in the Lewis Mountain neighborhood adjacent to Grounds. The search is being conducted both on the ground and in the air, according to Virginia State Police.
