Wind finally backs off; Sunday will be mostly pleasant! - CM 😎
SUNDAY
Following Saturday’s front, we’re left with drier and much more pleasant air. The only chance of a stray shower will be in Southside between 1 and 3 p.m.
It’ll be a beautiful day to get out and about to soak up some sunshine. High temperatures in the mountains will reach the 60s, while most other areas reach 70 to 75 degrees.
MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY
Clouds increase as our old front lifts to the north. A few light rain showers will be possible Monday morning through midday before drifting north and east. Highs still manage to reach the 60s under a mostly cloudy sky.
Leftover upper level energy may bring a few showers to the area Tuesday evening with some snow on the west-facing slopes. Highs reach the 50s and 60s before falling to about 36-42 degrees at night.
Wednesday will be cooler, even as clouds decrease. Highs reach roughly 54 to 60 before falling into the 30s at night. Areas of frost may develop.
THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY
Thursday starts chilly. With high pressure overhead, we’re left with ample sunshine. Highs reach the upper 50s in the mountains and 60s elsewhere. Friday will see increasing clouds with highs in the 60s. A few showers will be possible north of US 460.
A stronger storm system drifts north Saturday, but we’ll still see the chance for some morning/midday showers. After that, we’ll warm up nicely.
