Tuesday essentially a repeat of Monday - CM ☀️⚡️
TUESDAY
It's another hot, summer day in southwest and central Virginia! After some patches of morning fog, temperatures sky-rocket once again.
Highs reach the mid to upper 80s in the mountains and low to mid 90s elsewhere.
Storms remain isolated during the heat and humidity of the day.
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY
A slow-moving front gets closer to use the next couple of days. This will trigger more numerous storms Wednesday, bringing temperatures down only be a few degrees.
Given the recent rain, the amount of moisture and the slow-moving nature of storms, localized flash flooding will be possible into the evening.
As our front passes Thursday, a few showers and storms will be possible along it. Highs reach the 80s.
FRIDAY THROUGH MONDAY
The main attraction doesn't come until Friday, but it's worth the wait. Humidity levels drop off big time!
This will set the stage for a more comfortable weekend. Temperatures Saturday and Sunday mornings start out in the 50s early on.
Highs Friday through Monday will be in the 70s in the mountains and low to mid 80s everywhere else.
Enjoy!
