MONTGOMERY COUNTY (WSLS 10) - The woman who plead guilty to killing Virginia Tech student Samanta Shrestha was sentenced to 85 years in prison Monday. She will only serve 45 years.
New details about the relationship between Jessica Ewing and the victim were revealed during a sentencing hearing Monday.

According to testimony in Montgomery County Circuit Court Monday, Ewing said she and Samanta Shrestha had sex on the night Shrestha was killed. Afterward, Shrestha said she did not have feelings for Ewing, who went into a fit of rage and choked Shrestha.
Jessica Ewing plead guilty to murder in the killing of Samanta Shrestha in February 2014. Investigators said Shrestha's body was found in February of 2014 wrapped in a sleeping bag in the back of her car.
