Noah Thomas case ends with $200,000 settlement

PULASKI, Va. – A wrongful death lawsuit filed in connection with the 2015 death of Noah Thomas has been settled.

The parties involved agreed to a $200,000 settlement, according to court documents filed in Pulaski County Circuit Court.

The suit was filed against Gary and Sharon Meadows, the owners of the property where Thomas and his family lived.

Thomas was found dead on March 26, 2015, in a septic tank near the family's home after an extensive multiday search.

The settlement money is going to be paid out by insurance agency Virginia Farm Bureau to Thomas' parents and sister.

Each family member is set to receive $38,976.84.

As part of the settlement, the Meadowses did not admit any liability for Thomas' death.
