Power mostly restored after more than 3,700 outages in Lynchburg

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Many residents in the Lynchburg area were without power Friday night in the Wards Road, Timberlake Road and Graves Mill Road area.

As of 11:28 p.m., there were 473 without power in Lynchburg, according to Appalachian Power.

At one point, there were 3,750 without power.

Affected areas were given an approximate restoration time of 4:30 a.m. on Saturday.
