Virginia Tech sets dates/times for in-person commencement ceremonies

There will be 15 ceremonies May 10-16

Virginia Tech revealed when and where its in-person commencement ceremonies will take place after its announcement last month to have in-person ceremonies.

Virginia Tech will host 15 ceremonies at Lane Stadium from May 10 to May 16, which will be grouped by the university’s colleges.

Each student is allowed to have up to four guests and must register by April 16.

The virtual university commencement for all students will be held on Friday, May 14 at 6:15 p.m., and degrees will be conferred at this ceremony.

Here’s the schedule for this spring’s ceremonies:

Monday, May 10

  • Graduate School (1 of 2) at 2 p.m.
  • Virginia–Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine at 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday, May 11

  • Graduate School (2 of 2) at 4 p.m.

Wednesday, May 12

  • College of Engineering (1 of 3) at 6 p.m.

Thursday, May 13

  • College of Engineering (2 and 3 of 3) at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.
  • College of Architecture and Urban Studies at 6 p.m.

Friday, May 14

Saturday, May 15

  • College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences (1 and 2 of 2) at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.
  • College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at 6 p.m.

Sunday, May 16

  • College of Natural Resources and Environment at 8 a.m.
  • Pamplin College of Business (1 and 2 of 2) at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
