Former Liberty quarterback Malik Willis helps homeless woman in need

“I just felt like I had to do that,” said Willis

Malik Willis has been impressing fans both on and off the field lately.

The former Liberty University quarterback was seen giving a homeless woman some of his NFL combine gear on Wednesday while in Indianapolis.

Willis was heading to his hotel when he spotted the woman outside of the Indianapolis Convention Center.

“I felt bad because I saw her son. It was a pregnant lady and she was homeless,” Willis told NFL Network. “And I was just like, ‘Shoot, I don’t have no money, but I can give you a couple of shirts.’”

Willis didn’t intend to be spotted, but his generous act was filmed by Ryan Lacey who was having lunch nearby.

The video now has 3 million views on Twitter.

The 2022 NFL Draft starts on April 28 and Willis may be the first quarterback chosen off the board.
