A multi-vehicle crash on I-581 southbound in Roanoke is causing traffic delays, according to VDOT.
The crash happened at the 0.8 mile marker, leading to a 3.5-mile-long backup.
As of 7:39 a.m., the south center lane, right lane and right shoulder are closed, authorities said.
The south exit ramp narrows.
