Construction underway to turn Caretaker’s Cabin into a coffee shop

ROANOKE, Va. – Construction is underway to turn the 200-year-old Caretaker’s Cabin at Roanoke’s Fishbern park into a coffee shop.

On Monday the city council granted a deadline extension to the couple who bought the cabin after legal issues from neighbors.

They now have 18 months to complete the project.
