MECHANICSVILLE, Va. – Six products from the heralded Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery will be available for the opportunity to purchase through an upcoming Virginia ABC online lottery, Virginia ABC announced Monday.
The whiskey, which is often dubbed the hardest-to-find spirit due to its low production is offered by lottery to ensure equitable distribution.

The following will be available during the lottery between Feb. 3 and Feb. 6:
- Old Rip Van Winkle Bourbon 10 Year - 53.5% ABV (273 bottles available) $129.99
- Van Winkle Special Reserve Bourbon 12 Year - 45.2% ABV (822 bottles available) $149.99
- Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye 13 Year - 47.8% ABV (94 bottles available) $199.99
- Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve Bourbon 15 Year - 53.5% ABV (49 bottles available) $199.99
- Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve Bourbon 20 Year - 45.2% ABV (242 bottles available) $319.99
- Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve Bourbon 23 Year - 47.8% ABV (10 bottles available) $449.99
The VA ABC store said that winners will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the lottery period.
