ROANOKE, Va. – A man has been arrested after an armed robbery at a Roanoke gas station Monday afternoon, according to the Roanoke Police Department.
Police say Ryan Charles Huntress, 22, of Collinsville, was found and taken into custody Thursday by the U.S. Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Task Force. He is now facing an armed robbery charge.

The robbery happened around 4:30 p.m. Monday in the 1800 block of Memorial Avenue. According to police, surveillance video shows the suspect walking into the store, heading behind the counter, and pulling a handgun from his pocket. He then pointed the weapon at the clerk and demanded money. Once the clerk handed over cash, the suspect left the scene.
Investigators say they used Flock technology to identify the vehicle involved, which turned out to be a black Kia SUV.
