There was a lot of excitement in the 10 News studio on Thursday, and for a very good reason! We had a special visitor: Phoebe, our favorite amateur meteorologist.
Phoebe has been sending in her own forecasts through Pin It during major weather events, including Hurricane Helene, and she is truly a ray of sunshine. For Phoebe, age is just a number when it comes to following your dreams. She may be young, but she’s got the kind of drive and passion that proves if you shoot for the stars, the sky really is the limit.
Phoebe got the full behind-the-scenes tour with 10 News meteorologist, Delaney Willis. We showed her everything that goes into giving the forecast here at WSLS, from what happens in front of the camera to all the action behind the scenes. Phoebe was all smiles and practically bursting with excitement the whole time.
A lot of meteorologists find they get bitten by the weather bug early in life, and it seems Pheobe is no exception. Her future is forecasted to be bright and sunny, and we can’t wait to see where her love for weather takes her next!
