Last stop of the Games for me this year! You know he’s a keeper when you do a 127 mile ride together (after listening to me complain about the pace being too hard, the wind being 1mph too fast, the ground being too flat, so on so on) and then he agrees to do Cascades that evening with you since it’s on the scavenger hunt list. Unfortunately I was 3 items short of finishing the whole list (excluding state parks) but I’ll take it for attempting the Scavenger Hunt and the Biking categories on top of day job and 20 hour training weeks for cycling. A bit too ambitious but it’s in my nature and glad I tried. I’ve actually ridden by most places on the Scavenger Hunt list but I got a lot out of actually being able to stop, slow down, and actually look at the locations.
