Flames ‘culture’ key to good camp work

Liberty is looking to build on another bowl season

Lynchburg, Va. – Meanwhile Liberty’s camp continues in Lynchburg on the heels of a third straight bowl winning season for coach Hugh Freeze and his team.
For the Flames it’s about things like comradre and chemistry--during the dog days of August.

“The culture is the main thing coming into this because if you have a good culture I feel like you have a good camp which leads to a good season kind of just a trickle effect. But the culture’s been immaculate, we’ve been steady pouring into each other, just uplifting each other helping each other,” junior wide receiver CJ Yarbrough.

The Flames redshirt junior wide receiver spoke about the supportive nature of Liberty’s fall camp.
Coach Hugh Freeze’s team has racked up 26 total wins in the last three seasons. They open the season at Southern Miss on September 3rd.
