More than a year has passed since a federal judge in Montana entered a default judgment against Andrew Anglin, the Daily Stormer's founder and publisher. Plaintiffs' lawyers say the Ohio native has failed to pay any of the monetary award to Tanya Gersh. Gersh's attorneys from the Southern Poverty Law Center say they intend to identify any of Anglin's assets that could be used to satisfy the judgment. In August 2019, U.S. District Judge Dana Christensen ordered Anglin to pay $4 million in compensatory damages and $10 million in punitive damages to Gersh. The judge also ordered Anglin to permanently remove from his website the posts in which he encouraged readers to contact Gersh and her family.

LONDON The brother of the suicide bomber who set off an explosion at a 2017 Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England, killing 22 people and injuring hundreds, was sentenced Thursday to a minimum of 55 years in prison. Hashem Abedi, 23, had denied helping plan the attack at Manchester Arena but was found guilty of murder, attempted murder, and conspiring to cause explosions. His elder brother Salman Abedi, who set off the bomb, died in the May 22, 2017 bombing at the end of the concert. The defendant should clearly understand the minimum term he should serve is 55 years. He added that there was a significant degree of premeditation and that the motivation for the brothers was to advance the ideology of Islamism.

If youโve ever seen the blockbuster musical โWicked,โ which tells the untold story of Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda, the Good Witch from โThe Wizard of Oz,โ youโve probably thought this musical could be a great movie. Grande even got to sing the song โThe Wizard and I,โ during a tribute TV special to the show. Plus, youโve got to be able to hit some pretty high notes when you play Glinda, so Grande would be perfect. Eilish, on the other hand, basically lives her life as a modern-day version of the Wicked Witch of the West, so the choice is easy. It was reported there will be a movie version of โWickedโ to hit theaters in late 2021, but so far, weโve had no news on casting.

The documents allege Forever 21 and Riley Rose published at least 30 unauthorized images and videos "misappropriating Ms. Grande's name, image, likeness and music in order to create the false perception of her endorsement." The images showcased in the lawsuit no longer appear to be on Forever 21's Instagram, Twitter or Facebook pages. The suit claims Forever 21 left some of the unauthorized posts up until at least April 17, 2019, despite requests beginning in February that all of them be removed. Artists join Planned Parenthood's 'Bans Off My Body' campaign

Planned Parenthood plans to raise awareness about restrictive anti-abortion measures that have passed in several states over the last year. The organization hopes to gather a whopping 500,000 signatures for its online petition to raise awareness about abortion rights. "Abortion access and reproductive health and rights are under attack like never before, and we need everyone to fight back," Planned Parenthood's president, Alexis McGill, said in a statement. "Planned Parenthood is grateful to these artists for using their incredible platforms to declare that our bodies are our own -- if they are not, we can never be truly free or equal."

Chinese tech firm to buy 10% stake in Universal Music Group

French conglomerate Vivendi confirmed Tuesday that it's in talks to sell 10% of Universal Music Group to the gaming and social media company. Vivendi said in a statement that Universal Music Group would be valued at 30 billion ($33.6 billion) under the deal. Arnaud de Puyfontaine, the chief executive of Vivendi, said previously that proceeds from the Universal Music Group sale would be used to buy back shares and acquire companies. In March, Tencent said a sharp fall in its profits was mainly due to costs related to the US listing of its streaming music subsidiary, Tencent Music, in December.
