Keith Tkachuk is going into the Hockey Hall of Fame after waiting for more than a decade and a half since his playing career in the NHL ended.

NHL players will be allowed to use Pride tape this season after all.

The NHL sent a memo to teams last week clarifying what players can and cannot do as part of theme celebrations this season, including a ban on the use of rainbow-colored stick tape for Pride nights.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have fired general manager Ron Hextall, director of hockey operations Brian Burke and assistant general manager Chris Pryor after the club failed to reach the playoffs for the first time in 17 years.

Cari and Brian Burke are adopting a child out of foster care and at times it’s been a roller coaster. But they’ve gotten support from Specialized Treatment and Resources Support (STARS for short) which provides extra support to families at no cost. Roanoke County and Roanoke City teamed up for the support program that includes specialized training, a therapist, and fun events for families to attend. If that child goes to a therapeutic foster care with an outside agency it costs $30,000. The children are all ages and races and were put into foster care due to no fault of their own.
