In a new ad campaign using actor Bryan Cranston, Ford Motor is urging Americans to adhere to Covid-19 protocols to save lives in the next period of the pandemic. The spots will launch during college football bowl games on ABC and ESPN and NFL games on Fox in early January. The ad, which features scenes of front-line workers and those affected by Covid, aims to strike a unifying tone. "We know Americans don't want to necessarily be preached to, and they don't want to hear scare tactics," Truby said. The company worked with ad agency Wieden + Kennedy and Civic Entertainment Group on the spot.

LOS ANGELES This Is Us stars Mandy Moore and Justin Hartley will co-host NBC's Red Nose Day special to raise money and awareness for children in need. Funds raised by this years Red Nose campaign will be directed to help combat the effect of COVID-19 on youngsters and the organizations that aid them. In the pandemic, some of the most vulnerable parts of our population are obviously going to be children, Moore said. Instead, they're part of NosesOn.com, a website to make donations and get a digital Red Nose to share on social media, NBC said. Red Nose Day has raised $200 million annually for programs including Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Children's Health Fund and Feeding America.

Back home, Pharaoh Williams was always in the kitchen and so were his grandmothers. Grutman and Pharrell partnered with Top Chef Europe champion executive chef Jean Imbert for their restaurant, while Pharrell works on the side with a line of food products for his father. But the “Happy” singer is clear about his role in the restaurant business — he happily stays out of the kitchen.
