Cineworld Group Plc said Monday that it would close 536 Regal cinemas in the U.S. and 127 Cineworld and Picturehouse venues in the U.K. this week, affecting some 45,000 employees. Best Buy is the latest store to announce that it will be closed for Thanksgiving this year. The company says to make up for the closure, it will be offering holiday deals earlier than it has in years past.
