Kai Kahele has won the Democratic nomination to represent Hawaiis 2nd Congressional District in Saturday's primary election. Incumbent U.S. Rep. Ed Case won the Democratic nomination for the 1st Congressional District seat after he ran unopposed. He represented the 2nd Congressional District from 2002 to 2007 and served in the state House from 1994 to 2002.
