Park Chan-wook, the Korean filmmaker of “Oldboy” and “No Other Choice,” will head the jury at the 79th Cannes Film Festival, festival organizers announced Thursday.

New films from Wes Anderson, Ari Aster, and Richard Linklater will compete for the Palme d’Or at the 78th Cannes Film Festival.

Organizers announced that tew films from Yorgos Lanthimos, Andrea Arnold and Francis Ford Coppola, as well as a portrait of 1980s Donald Trump, will compete for the Palme d’Or at the 77th Cannes Film Festival.

New films by Wes Anderson, Wim Wenders and Ken Loach are in the lineup for the 76th Cannes Film Festival.
