Students at Liberty High School honored the life and legacy of John McSweeney Friday evening. McSweeney, who was the school’s Varsity Boys Basketball Coach starting in 2023, passed away last month. And while his tenure was cut short, he pushed his students to do their best and truly cared about his community.

John McSweeney, the Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach and In-School Suspension Coordinator at Liberty High School, died on Thursday.
