Itโ€™s storytelling that determines how and when characters from the Marvel Comics universe hopscotch between TV and movies, Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige said Wednesday. Feige wouldnโ€™t say whether โ€œWandaVision,โ€ Marvel Studios' first original series for Disney+, has a future after its March 5 season finale. Asked if Marvel Studios might be able to regain them, Feige said he believes it could happen, but added that โ€œrumors online about things revertingโ€ to Marvel aren't always true.

CEO, in a statement. Bergman has worked at Disney for 24 years and served as president of Walt Disney Studios from 2005 to 2019, helping to integrate Pixar, Lucasfilm, Marvel and Twenty-First Century Fox into the Disney stable of brands.

'Spider-Man' swings on as Marvel, Sony mend split

On Friday, the parties announced that Marvel would again have a hand in producing the next sequel, and that Spider-Man would appear in another upcoming Marvel feature. In a statement, Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige said he is "thrilled that Spidey's journey in the MCU will continue." The result benefited both sides, with Sony releasing the hits "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and "Spider-Man: Far From Home," and the character appearing in several Marvel movies, including the "Avengers" saga. In August, however, the relationship broke down, with the announcement that Feige would no longer oversee the production of the Spider-Man movies. "Spider-Man: Far From Home" has grossed more than $1.1 billion worldwide, making it the third most lucrative movie released in 2019, behind "Avengers: Endgame" and "The Lion King."

Split no more, Spider-Man gets another swing with Marvel

ROANOKE, Va. - Spider-Man won't be leaving the Marvel Cinematic Universe anytime soon. After a public fallout last month, Sony Pictures Entertainment and The Walt Disney Studios have found a way to work together. The studios said Friday that they would be teaming up once more to produce a third "Spider-Man" film starring Tom Holland. Disputes over the profit-sharing structure put Spidey's future in the MCU in doubt, much to the chagrin of many fans who had enjoyed seeing Spider-Man fighting alongside The Avengers. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said in a statement that he's thrilled that the character's journey in the MCU is continuing.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige took the stage at Disney's D23 Expo in Anaheim, California, along with film director Ryan Coogler, to announce that the second movie of the "Black Panther" saga will debut in theaters on May 6, 2022. The Disney-Marvel movie won three Oscars for original score and production as well as costume design. After hitting theaters in February 2018, "Black Panther" has grossed more than $700 million, according to Box Office Mojo. The-CNN-Wire & 2019 Cable News Network, Inc., a Time Warner Company.

"He'll be a household name soon enough," Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige told CNN after an announcement-packed panel. "All I've ever wanted to do when I was growing was make [my parents] proud," Liu said on stage at Comic-Con. "Our films play around the world and we want the films to reflect that world," he said.
