As the government shutdown hits day 15, Virginia ranks sixth among the states most affected due to federal jobs, contract dollars and access to national parks.

The comments come after Gov. Glenn Youngkin said the new pay raises in the budget will lead to Virginia eventually meeting the national average for teacher pay.
