She worked at PepsiCo for 24 years, 12 of them as CEO, before stepping down in 2018.

Elizabeth Warren has a book coming out about six key experiences and perspectives. “Persist” will refer to Warren's recent bid for the Democratic presidential nomination, won by Joe Biden, but is not a campaign memoir. NEW YORK – Sen. Tammy Duckworth has written a memoir, “Every Day Is a Gift,” which comes out March 30. Twelve, a Hachette Book Group imprint, announced the deal with Sen. Duckworth on Thursday, the 16th anniversary of the day she was shot down in a helicopter while serving in Iraq and lost both of her legs. She was elected in 2016 to the U.S. Senate, where she became the first sitting Senator to give birth. Over the past year, she was mentioned as a possible running mate for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, who ended up choosing Sen. Kamala Harris of California. She was represented by Robert Barnett, the Washington attorney who also has worked on deals for Biden, now president-elect, and for former President Barack Obama.

Crown announced Tuesday that Cuomo's American Crisis will be released Oct. 13, three weeks before Election Day, when Trump is expected to face presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden. New York State has one of the lowest infection rates in the U.S., a welcome contrast to the spring, when it had one of the highest. His style has differed notably from the more erratic approach of President Trump, a Republican with whom he has clashed often. Cuomo has received some of his strongest criticism for the thousands of virus-related deaths at New York nursing homes.

Bush, who served as president from 2001-2009, has often praised the contributions of immigrants, a notable contrast to President Donald Trump's rhetoric and policies. As president, Bush supported a bipartisan immigration reform bill that narrowly failed to pass in 2007, with opposition coming from both liberals and conservatives. His memoir Decision Points has sold more than 3 million copies, and his other books include 41, about his father, former President George H.W.

The plot for The President's Daughter would seem uncomfortable for Clinton, who has a daughter, Chelsea. This novel is completely and fully fiction, says Washington, D.C. attorney Robert Barnett, who handles book deals for Clinton and Patterson. Clinton and Patterson were represented by Barnett and Deneen Howell of Williams & Connolly.
