The World Video Game Hall of Fame has four new inductees.

The World Video Game Hall of Fame has revealed its 12 finalists for 2025.

CNN The Tamagotchi is back. The virtual pet that was so popular in the 90s is coming to North America again in July, with a new product called Tamagotchi On Wonder Garden. The On series updates the 90s toy with more modern technology: You'll find the original pets, but now with better graphics in color, and on a device that can connect to a mobile app. Unlike the original Tamagotchi, the new one can go outside its house, celebrate your birthday with colorful balloons and a festive tune, and even travel to different lands. It can also get married and raise children, who will later grow into adults, and continue the family tree.

The chain is reintroducing timeless toys that appeared in Happy Meals throughout the years to celebrate the childhood staple's 40th birthday. The current toys are being swapped for play things of old, like Furby, Hello Kitty and the beloved Tamagotchi. TamagotchiMcDonald'sWho didn't love to feed and care for their Tamagotchi in the 90s and 2000s? FurbyMcDonald'sA mini version of another Hasbro toy that most kid had the Furby will be available too. Hello KittyMcdonald'sThe Hello Kitty brand was an extreme craze in the 2000s, and in 2013, McDonalds introduced the Sanrio toy into their Happy Meals.
