Surry County detectives arrested Javier Gonzalez Garcia, 47, and he was charged with the murder of Martin, deputies say. Garcia is held without bond at the Surry County Detention Center. The Mount Airy Police Crisis Management Team and NC State Bureau of Investigations assisted the Surry County Sheriff's Office in the search.

"We've actually searched the building and no one is inside the building which is great," said Eden Police Chief Greg Light told WGHP.
