MARTINSVILLE (WSLS 10) - Big news for Henry County. eBay Enterprise, and eBay Inc. company, announced Thursday they plan to expand their operations in Martinsville, Va., creating more than 190 new, full-time jobs and investing more than $5.8 million in the Commonwealth.
Officials say the 400,000 square foot facility expansion will provide automated fulfillment services, warehouse management, and freight solutions for clients, including Bath & Body Works, Stein Mart and The Company Store.

The new facility, located on Joseph Martin Highway, expands eBay's Martinsville-Henry County campus to six buildings and increases its total fulfillment footprint to 1.3 million sq. ft.
Officials say the Commonwealth of Virginia plans to provide assistance through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program, while Henry County will provide Enterprise Zone incentives based on the total investment. They say the Tobacco Commission will also assist with the large expansion.
In written statement released on Thursday H.G. Vaughn, chairman of the Henry County Board of Supervisors said, "Our area will continue to reap the rewards of economic growth and additional job opportunities that come with the investment."
Ebay Enterprise is expected to finish their renovations to it's new campus by the end of July, 2015. In the meantime, they are currently hiring for 4 supervisor positions. To apply for openings in Henry County visit their website, www.ebay.com/careers.
